Self Defence MYTHS Women Believe... that DON'T HELP

The hand to hand training takes place in about two days, far more women's self defense than you would get in a hour class at the YMCA. The next phase of women's self defense in the military is bayonet training. Here the soldier will learn how to kill a man using her bayonet either on her rifle or in her hand. The more visible you are the less likely you are to be attacked. Be aware of your surroundings. Look who is walking behind and in front of you. Women's self defense programs like the Rape Aggression Defense will tell you that without awareness you are putting yourself at serious risk. If you do end up in the position where you are being attacked, women's self defense will then demand that you become physical. If you are attacked or abducted your young one could suffer because you are separated from them. A woman's self defense course will advise you to have child locators on your children. If they are stolen or run away, you can locate them on your computer. They even have global positioning signal locators that can find your child by satellite. What if you were walking down the street or in your front yard and someone grabs you and throws you in a car. You will probably be bound or duct tapped and sometimes you may just be threatened with a gun or knife. What are you going to do to get out of that situation? Remember in a moving car everyone is vulnerable and the kidnapper really can't keep his entire attention on your and the road at the same time. Even if you have to walk an extra block or two, Stay on well lit side walks and choose the side of the street that has more lights on at houses. If you are riding in a car, before getting in you need to check the backseat to make sure no one is hiding in it. If you are parked in a parking garage, ask the attendant to accompany or at least to monitor your safety on a video camera. The art of women's self-defense teaches women to use the abilities given to them by Mother Nature. Women are naturally stronger in the lower body and must not be afraid to use their legs when defending their person. The women's self-defense course will teach the female to kick or stomp on their attacker and when all else fails, run.
